Stories about the old town in the former railway town Otterup

Discover the former railway station town of Otterup and hear the exciting historical stories about the gun factory, the railway station and the town. Visit Denmark's most cosy little museum with special stories and exhibitions from the area, take a look at the local archive exhibition and visit the Rifle Factory exhibition. The stories are free at all locations and you can choose whether you want to participate in one or more locations.

The historical city stories in Otterup are organised in collaboration with Otterup Local Archive and Otterup Museum.

Each story lasts 15-20 min.

09.30 am at the museum and church

We start at Otterup Museum at 9.30 am, Bakkevej 2b. After the story there is an opportunity to take a closer look at the museum's exhibitions. If there is time and space, we will also visit Otterup Church, which has a long and glorious history. You can also experience the Sehestedt family chapel, which is impressive.

11:00 am at the local archive and library, Søndergade 2

Here there are exhibitions about the region's subdivision into smallholdings and beach hunting.
