Flyvesandet is one of the most fascinating places on North Funen. Once, the sand flew constantly from the beach to land, creating soft sand dunes, and there was a huge fjord that stretched all the way to Tørresø. Today there are wide open spaces, a lovely sandy beach and beautiful woods perfect for a walk. Find belemnites and amber by the water - or enjoy the impressive view all the way to Samsø.

How do I get to Flyvesandet?
You can get to Flyvesandet by car via Kørupvej (from southwest) or Tørresøvej (from southeast) or the small roads Stenøvej/Agernæsvej (from south) - and then a long stretch up Flyvesandsvej to Flyvesandet.
There is no direct bus or other kind of public transportation to Flyvesandet. We recommend using Flextrafik - contact Fynbus to inquire about it: fynbus@fynbus.dk /+45 6311 2200
It's easy to bike to Flyvesandet along the small roads and up Flyvesandsvej.
Where to go on Flyvesandet?
There are paths all around Flyvesandet. You can walk along the beach all day and night.
There are also trails in the woods at Flyvesandet by Agernæs. You can walk or hike the trails from sunup to sundown.
At the nature reserve Nærå-Agernæs it's important to respect nature and stay on the paths and trails.
Where to park on Flyvesandet?
There is a big parking ground close to the Flyvesandet Beach.
You can also find small parking lots along Flyvesandsvej.
